They are also going to build new buildings to the area just left of the picture. This street is important for many who want to move in East-West direction in the city. Obviously right now it might not be your best choice.

The first white building you can see is the place where Linus Torvalds was studying while he created the Linux operating system. Today the Department of Computer Science is no longer there but in Kumpula.
