This blog will show different aspects of Helsinki and Finnish way of life through the eyes of a thirty-something Finnish man who has been living in Helsinki since 1995 and who has also seen life on all continents.
The blog belongs to City Daily Photo Blog network, which is a great way to learn about cities all around the world from the blogs of regular people. I have been following several of these daily photo blogs for quite a long time.
I created this blog because I needed something to force me to take photographs regularly so that I would develop as a photographer. Earlier I only took photographs when I was traveling abroad and as a result I have a lot of bad travel photos. Travel photos are still the main reason why I own a camera but I hope that through this blog and some other projects I will find other photography interests as well. I also expect to learn a lot of new things about my home city as now I really need to keep my eyes and ears open all the time.
Although the blog has been created purely to serve my personal interests, I also hope that you will also enjoy reading it.
