Finnish Navy Sailing Out of Helsinki…

…a day after these ships were on display for “Navy day” (merivoimien vuosipäivä). This is FNS Uusimaa.

Before heading to their own directions the ships sailed between mainland Helsinki and Suomenlinna sea fortress.

Missile boat Tornio.

Minelayer Pyhäranta.

Mine countermeasure vessel Katanpää is the navy’s latest ship. Click to see a larger view of the convoy.

For more information see list of current ships of the Finnish Navy in Wikipedia.
