Leena Puotiniemi Won Helsinki City Marathon…

…women’s class for the second time in a row. She started professional training a few years ago at the age of 32 and is now on her way to London Olympics?

I don’t envy professional photographers. They need to capture the winners and the few times I saw her there were either men or this “supervisor” cyclist around her. Or both like in this photo. Many good plans fail. The most famous participant of the marathon was Sami Hyypiä who played ten years for Liverpool FC. I didn’t even see him.

I’ll publish a small gallery of marathon photos once I’ve had the time to process them.
