A Cyclist in Helsinki…

…can end up in some strange places. Here we are only a stone’s throw away form the main street in very central Helsinki.

If Your Photos Aren’t Good Enough, You Are Not Close Enought OR…

…so why is this alleged son of God holding on to some kind of cloth?

In the annual Via Crucis outdoor theater performance the same cross is being used every year. Last year the role of Jesus was played by a Japanese actress Yuko Takeda who was not able to reach the handles that are on the cross.

Good Friday is Literally Long Friday…

…in Finnish (pitkäperjantai). It felt a lot longer during those years when practically everything was closed.

From annual Via Crucis outdoor theater performance in 2010.

I Don’t Think They Are…

…locals.

Thanks to the hair-rising elections I’ve forgotten to mention that Oulu Daily Photo from the largest city of Northern Finland has awaken. Follow the link and ask the author whether she is afraid of the police. That’s what you are supposed to ask people from Oulu.
