A Train Crashed Into a Hotel…

…at the central railway station today.

Four coaches got separated from their train, their brakes didn’t work and so on their own they had too much speed and crashed into the Holiday Inn Hotel building. Guards at the station had a minute to evacuate people.

Luckily there were no passengers and a meeting at a destroyed Ernst & Young meeting room hadn’t started yet.

It’s not business as usual at the station as the metro station is also currently closed because of water damage and the repair work at the tower is taking longer than was expected.
