Winner of men's boatercross was Vladimir Chubarov.. The jury needed to discuss about the colorful final race before the final results were given.
Every spring white water kayakers have teir iceBREAK competion at Vanhankaupunginkoski rapids near the place where Helsinki was originally founded. The competition is also popular among photography hobbyists. This year the event was smaller than usually, even mother nature provided a lot less water than last year, but still many cameras were there today.
It’s a shame that the heads of the other competitors were cut out from this winning pose. With the heads it would also be more obvious that #27 Jussi Tanskanen is reversing. In the end he became second in the race because of the penalties given to #24 and #14 who crossed the finish line before the winner.
Now I’ll have a lot to do while I sort out all the photos and I might publish some of them here later. The published photo is not a very good one but something that is significant today and that was easy to find.

I know these people think they’re having fun and this is a terrific photo, but I think I’d rather read a book.
